Overview
The Sharp Home™ (“the app”) is a kitchen management app for iOS and Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
Data We Collect
Purchase Information
We use RevenueCat to process in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat collects:
- Purchase transaction identifiers
- Subscription status
- A device identifier used to restore purchases
This data is linked to your device and used solely to manage your subscription. We do not have access to your Apple ID, Google account, payment method, or billing information.
Recipe Generation
When you request AI-powered recipe suggestions, the list of ingredients in your pantry is sent to Anthropic’s API (Claude) to generate recipe ideas. This data is:
- Sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection
- Not stored on our servers
- Not linked to your identity
Data We Do Not Collect
- Your name, email address, or any account information (the app has no login)
- Your location
- Your contacts or calendar
- Photos or camera access
- Health or fitness data

Data Retention
We do not operate our own servers or databases. All app data (pantry inventory, meal plans, recipes) is stored locally on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
